Weight loss therapy can a complex issue for many clients. Many have come through a variety of weight loss programmes- with no results or mixed results.
There are many offers out there reaching from weigh-in programmes to nutrition based and calorie counting programmes through to the motivational approach and those programmes whose success depends on the purchase of certain products.
Some of these may work or may have worked for you, at least to a certain extend- for example they may have worked for you while being involved in the programme. Often, clients report that afterwards the same habits set in- emotional eating starts and the weight comes back on.
When this is the case, start considering the idea that there may be earlier issues underneath which are driving the weight issue.
