Self Esteem Therapy

Self esteem therapy should be in popular demand. Most clients I work with have self esteem issues of some kind, and I have come to believe that most people do.

How would you know if you did have self esteem issues?

Check out the info graphic alongside this article and see for yourself.

Rate yourself on a scale from 0-10 for any of the items on the info graphic, with 10 being 'excellent' and 0 being 'no self esteem at all'. If you rate above eight, take it that you are doing well, otherwise consider that there is substantial room for improvement.

What is Self Esteem and why is it so Important?

Self esteem refers to how much we like ourselves. Naturally, the more we like ourselves, the more we can support ourselves in this life.

This rings true for any area of your life you can think of, from relationships through to education, career, making money and ultimately a sense of fulfillment and wellbeing.

It follows that if you don't like yourself enough, you won't be able to support yourself well enough to live your dreams.

What Impacts Your Self Esteem

There are many issues that can impact your self esteem negatively, especially issues that arose in very early life before the neocortex was online in your brain. At this young stage below the age of seven, children are very impressionable and will take in what it said to them without being able to question its validity.

Any negative remarks about oneself, especially from close family and people in an authority position such as teachers, will be internalised and often so for life. the child comes to believe that indeed they have been bad, or are a bad person.

Self Esteem Therapy can Change Your Life

When working with powerful methods such as hypnosis and Havening Techniques®alongside Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, you will be able to dismantle any of these false beliefs and free yourself from any negative feelings towards yourself. You can achieve this in short term therapy.

Imagine how your life would change if only that niggling self doubt, or niggling sinking feeling in your gut when you set yourself a goal, was gone. You would then be free to live your life to your full potential.

if you are curious about any of  the therapies I work with, please feel free to give me a call, ask all your questions and find out what this work could do for you. I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,

Susanna Sweeney
